Gwen Jorgensen, who in 2016 became the first USA Olympic triathlon gold medallist and then switched to distance running, is making a comeback to triathlon for a 2024 Olympic bid. Jorgensen commenced her Olympic campaign with a start in the World Triathlon Cup in New Plymouth, New Zealand. In this episode the Olympic champion shares insight into athlete life as a mother, her decision to come back to Triathlon, what she hopes to get from the sport this time round and her motivation to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in the individual Elite women's race and in the Triathlon Mixed Relay. Jorgensen reflects fondly on winning Olympic gold in Rio in 2016.
