0:14: At the moment we are still under the state of emergency here due to COVID-19, and try to refrain from going out. How are you all doing out there?
0:23: I believe many people face challenges now. Among them, particularly those who are engaged in medical services must be with lots of heavy strain. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude and respect to those medical professionals.
0:36: What we can do on our part for now is to protect ourselves from virus and prioritize our health, so as not to spread virus any further.
0:49: I try to appreciate a given environment and do what I can do now under this circumstances.
0:53: The Tokyo 2020 Games were postponed. But, I would like to continue my efforts for my dream, hoping that our efforts will lead us to the time when everyone can smile from the bottom of our heart.
1:05: So, although I can contribute only a little, but I would like to share with you a part of my life at home.
1:13: But before that, I would like to introduce something to you!
1:19: Voila! This is called Okiagarikoboshi, a roly-poly.
In Japan, it is considered as a lucky charm with a symbolic, positive connotation that goes; even if you had a fall 7 times, you should be all right as you pick yourself up 8 times!
1:35: Now, let us see how it goes.
It wouldn’t tumble over.
1:52: It looks almost fall over, but survive. Why can it get up? Because it has a very strong core base. It’s so great, isn’t it?
2:00 I now believe what we need is this power to get up.
2:10 All right, everyone. Let us each build up a strong base, and overcome this challenge together!
(Brief introduction of the training sessions)
3:24: Let us overcome the challenge together!
